The furnace consists of two chambers. In the lower part of the kiln there is a combustion chamber where wood is burnt and in the upper part there is a meat chamber.

In a single-walled stove, the smoke from burning wood moves up the chimney through the meat chamber.

Sellise ahju kasutamise puhul on oluline, et põletatakse suitsutamiseks sobivat puitu – tegemist on  külmsuitsuahjuga.

The oven is equipped with a grease pan, four racks, a thermometer and an instruction manual.

Wheels at the back for easy movement of the oven.
