Convert your Napoleon gas grill into a charcoal grill or smoker
The cast iron charcoal and smoke module is easy to use – first, remove the grill grates and the heat diffusers from above at least two burners. Place the cast iron charcoal and smoke module directly on the gas burners. Add one layer of charcoal to the module, then turn on the gas burners and replace the grill grates. Allow the charcoal to ignite and become covered with a layer of ash before turning off the gas. Once the charcoal is ready, you can begin grilling. For a smoky flavour, use pieces of wood directly on the charcoal, or use the integrated wood chip holder for soaked or unsoaked chips.
