A spicy blend of flavours created by Angus & Oink, inspired by Nashville's famous hot chicken.
This blend brings out the authentic flavours of the American South, combining sweet, salty and spicy into a harmonious whole.

Hella Nashty is perfect for seasoning chicken, pork and other grilled dishes. It can be used as a dry marinade or mixed with oil to make a paste or liquid marinade. For deep-fried chicken, it is recommended to mix the seasoning with flour in a ratio of 80:20, or to prepare a spicy oil in which to soak the chicken before serving.

The result is an intense and spicy dish - an ideal choice for those who appreciate strong and bold flavours.

Ingredients: sugar, salt, paprika, black pepper, celery salt, chilli, onion, garlic, lemon, turmeric, citric acid, basil, oregano, cumin, sodium glutamate, disodium inosinate, silica (anti-caking).

Nashville Hot Chicken Wings - Angus & Oink Hella Nashty style 🔥

Ingredients:

-1 kg chicken wings (or chicken tenders if you prefer)

-2-3 spl Angus & Oink Hella Nashty Nashville Hot rubs

-1 tbsp olive oil

-1 teaspoon salt (optional - rub is already quite tasty)

-To serve with butter: pickled cucumbers, whale cream sauce or brioche buns

Preparation:

1. Preparing for:

-Dry the chicken wings with household paper.

-Place the wings in a bowl, add the olive oil and Hella Nashty rub. Massage evenly.

-Leave the chicken wings to marinate for at least 1 hour (or overnight in the fridge for the flavours to really soak in).

2. Baking (grill or oven):

-On the grill: cook over indirect heat at 180-200°C for about 30-35 minutes until the internal temperature is at least 75°C. At the end, you can briefly lift the wings directly over the fire to crisp the skin.

-Oven: Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 35-40 minutes, until the wings are crisp and cooked. If you wish, you can brown them at the end for a few minutes on the grill.

3. Serving:

-Place the prepared wings on the serving tray.

-Serve with pickled cucumbers and a cooling sauce (such as a sour cream-mayonnaise sauce with dill and lemon), or slip a brioche bun in between to make your own version of a Nashville hot chicken burger.
